Casa Cook El Gouna

We were pleasantly surprised with brunch on January 1st. Gorgeous cuisine, excellent chefs here. Delicious sweets, good cocktails. We had a great time playing volleyball and board games. And what's nice is the heated pool. I had a great time, thanks to all the staff and organizers. Everything was at the highest level. I'll come back here again.

When i saw just pictures of this hotel i understood its a heaven for me, for my gateway. When i arrived to Casa Cook hotel everything was perfect, very polite management, very helpful staff. The room was just like on the picture. I loved the design, cleanliness of the room (it reminded me of Bali for some reason. I was very happy with food in restaurant (I've been in many hotels in Egypt and quality of food in Casa Cook can't compare with any other hotels). The service was great. The pool area was my favorite place to hang out and to take my sunbath. Very important thing i would like to pay attention to - i never felt bothered with a staff (which happened to me many times before in other hotels), they was very polite and helpful when i needed them. Small tip - try a pizza by the bar, its fantastic! Definitely will come back again, because when the management taking care of such even small things with love and profeccionalism - its priceless! It was a pleasure to stay in Casa Cook. We stayed during Christmas, and they did their best to give us a nice evening. I would have preferred a more Egyptian-traditional menu though, luckily there was a Bedouin night when we could taste local specialties. It was the best food we had in these five days! During breakfast, it was a delight to eat Fatma’s delicious eggs! Chef Omar and his team do a really good job in bringing a well-prepared breakfast buffet. It’s clean, tasty, it looks so lovely that you want to stay eating. And it tastes very good! We had a lot of troubles with our flight, in the end it got delayed with over 24 hours. The staff of Casa Cook didn’t even talk about taking in count this lost night. We simply weren’t charged for this night, without even asking them. That was a very nice gesture, I can imagine that a lot of other hotels wouldn’t do this. One thing that could be better though: a lot of the pool covers stay at the pool, also of the private rooms. This gives a very messy appearance when you walk around. I also don’t understand why you’d take a room with a private pool in this hotel, because a lot of pools are very out in the open, and not even covered with a tree or a bush. If I’d book a private pool, it would have to be more private than what I’ve seen now.
